Hey, it’s Andre and as you may know, I am currently working on a film called Humanity. There’s still a lot to do so I am asking for help. I am looking for individuals who are interested in working with me. I am a very spiritual person and since this movie is about all of humanity I am looking to be a part of a good group of people with diverse perspectives. My goal for this film is to shed some light on some of humanity’s unanswered questions.By looking for answers to these questions I hope to empower the people of this planet. All people of all talents are welcome and I’m still in the writing process so I would like help with that too. Oh and a large part of the screenplay will be interviews of people on the various subjects of the film.
Some people ask me why I am doing this. Why am I putting so much energy into looking for answers to questions that may never be answered? Well, I am doing this because I am passionate about filmmaking, I am passionate about gaining and sharing knowledge and I am passionate about helping and empowering others. I feel called to make this film and do my part in creating a healthy and peaceful world.
As some of you may know, I have Cerebral Palsy, which makes my life pretty interesting at times. I have to be adaptable, flexible and innovative. This is not always easy, especially when it feels like life is attacking you from every angle. I am in pain 90% of the time. I do my best to remain positive and persevere though it can get overwhelming.
For example, Wednesday, I stayed home from school because I was extremely sore and having a lot of spasms. My housemate came down that morning to convince me to go to school.
She along with everyone else, including myself, wants me to succeed in life and finish up my last year of high school.
My housemate said some things that led to me feeling bad about being in pain. Not that she was being rude or intentionally trying to make me feel bad, though it reminded me of one of my characteristics that I dislike.
My intuition kicked in and I thought to myself "this is silly". Beating myself up over the fact that I cannot seem to overcome the challenges that arise in my life. Doing this only creates more negativity and I don't end up accomplishing what I want.
I have come to see that the key is to accept that struggles are a crucial part of life. Without them we would not grow, so by accepting our adversities, we learn to not dwell on them, leaving us space to be and do what we love.
Peace and Love!
So, I have an idea. It might help get the ball rolling on Humanity and give you a chance to be a part of the film. Since the film is about humanity I thought I'd ask everyone the following question. What is the most important thing that you think humanity should know?
You can send me your reply a few ways:
Peace and Love!
Humanity had a unplanned though necessary hiatus due to events in my personal life. The hiatus helped make our film more concise and accessible to you, the audience. We are still in the process of writing though here is the new and improved synopsis!Izzy has just graduated from high school and is now wondering what to do with her life. What is her next step? During her walks about town, Izzy meets up with her good friend and many other interesting people. These diverse members of her community discuss current events, spirituality and the social, political, philosophical and scientific ideas of today’s global society. Izzy does her best to find answers to some of life’s biggest questions. Life is a journey and along the way we learn the truths of humanity.
I'll update you guys again soon!
