Think: "Nancy Drew" (2007) meets "Cyberbully", but for 30-year-olds.
Logline:
When an intrepid internet sleuth and his best friend find the elusive killer they are investigating has left his signature roses at their apartment, a viral video revealing the sleuth’s disability triggers backlash against him.
Intro:
Best friends André Campbell and Brandon Bott are writing partners who met while André was selling his debut comics. He's a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy (CP) living with humour and independence, and Brandon grew up around a relative with a physical disability. Neither saw much disability representation as kids. This lack of representation, combined with their love for acting, writing, and filmmaking, led them to enter the 2026 Easterseals Disability Film Challenge - which is how Omega was born.
Synopsis:
Omega, an infamous and intrepid internet sleuth, a wheelchair user with CP, has earned a devoted following for solving cases, namely tied to the elusive killer known as The Suitor, whose signature roses now hang outside his apartment door, but when a viral video reveals that he is disabled, admiration quickly turns into ridicule and backlash. As Omega struggles with being judged by perception instead of proof, his best friend Alpha holds space for Omega to speak out, reclaiming the narrative.
